PM Designer is a Windows application for customizing Fatek Human Machine Interfaces. Users can connect to the devices via the standard RS-232 port.

Brief description

This utility is intended for creating and modifying HMI software modules. These systems are often utilized in factory production and offer operators a simple way to interact with large machinery.

It is possible to select the display size, resolution and orientation as well as the device model. You can drag and drop the objects in the workspace to begin designing the interface. All available operations are listed in the Project Manager section.

It is worth mentioning that PM Designer supports only a limited range of HMIs. To interact with the Weintek devices users can download EasyAccess.

Available tools

There is a wide variety of helpful instruments such as the alarms, scheduling tool and event processor. Moreover, this program supports macros commands and native scripts.

You are able to adjust the date and time format as well as the primary language for the menus. The font type, style, size and color are configurable as well. Additional parameters for the Chinese characters are provided. You can align the text in various ways to better fit the layout.

PM Designer allows users to add visual elements such as the lines, buttons, arrows and other geometrical shapes to the interface. Preview function is available to evaluate the design before saving it.
