Platinum Notes is a Windows utility for enhancing audio tracks. It is oriented toward DJs and musicians. There is support for iTunes and Beatport lossless files. Please note that Platinum Notes is distributed on a commercial basis. There is no free trial version.

Analysis

After starting the program users are instructed to import songs into the library. Compatible formats include MP3, WAV, AIFF and FLAC. It is possible to sort the list by title, dynamics, volume, pitch, status and other attributes.

The waveform graph for the selected song is located at the bottom of the interface. Clipped peaks are identified automatically. You can preview the changes and compare the original waveform with the improved version.

Template configuration

There is an option to save current settings and apply them to multiple files at the same time. Users are able to manually adjust the average volume for output tracks. Additionally, tools for adding gentle warmth or hot vacuum tube hiss are provided.

You can configure peak clipping parameters like the volume threshold and frequency headroom. Flexible pitch correction settings are included as well.
