Pinger Desktop is a Windows software for sending and receiving free SMS messages. It is necessary to register an account to access the interface. Please note that Pinger Desktop is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The main functionality is broken.

How to use

Users can create an account to generate a free phone number for communicating with other people. The main window contains the list of contacts and a section with previous conversations. Like in SMS Free Sender, there is a text field for entering a new message.

It is possible to send and receive images or short video clips in the 3GP file format. All operations are free of charge and require only an internet connection. The service is ad-supported.

Additional options

There is an option to enable system notifications for new messages. You can receive them even when the main window is minimized to the system tray.

Mobile applications for both Android and iOS are available. The program lets users synchronize contacts and conversations between multiple different devices such as tablets, laptops, smartphones and desktop computers.
