PhotoStitch is a Windows utility that contains tools for creating panoramas from multiple pictures. It is possible to manually adjust various stitching parameters to achieve the best results. Supported output file formats include JPEG, TIFF, BMP and PSD.

Stitching process

After starting the program users are instructed to import all source photos. There is an option to automatically detect the shooting direction and order of the images. Additionally, instruments for aligning, rotating and cropping individual images to better fit the project are provided.

You can preview the panoramic photo before saving the results. It is possible to add a digital frame or a title to the output picture. There is support for vertical, horizontal and 360 degrees panoramas.

Resulting images can be saved to the hard drive or exported to other Canon programs like ZoomBrowser EX and ImageBrowser.

Editing tools

The application allows users to correct the brightness and contrast of the stitched photo. This functionality is helpful for achieving seamless transitions between separate images. An option to tune the color gamma and white balance is available as well.
