PDF Unlocker is a Windows app for accessing protected PDF files. It can be helpful for modifying the documents that have disabled editing functionality.

Interface

The main window contains a list of files for unlocking. You can add a single document or a whole folder of PDFs for processing by clicking the corresponding buttons.

The destination directory is displayed at the bottom. Users are able to select any folder on the computer for the output files. Moreover, it is possible to directly send the results to the printer. There is an option to keep the password for the source PDF document in the final file.

You can click the Unlock button to begin the process. The progress bar indicates when the conversion is complete.

Working with PDFs

After the unlocking users get full unrestricted access to the contents of a document. There are powerful programs for editing PDF files such as Foxit PDF Editor and PDFTools. Moreover, it is possible to attach digital certificates to the documents with PDF Signature Signer.

It is worth mentioning that PDF Unlocker is distributed on a commercial basis. The free demo version can only remove the restrictions from 5 files. Watermarks are added to the final documents as well.
