PC Inspector File Recovery is a Windows utility for restoring mistakenly erased photos, documents, video clips and other data. Moreover, it is possible to detect and fix broken logical disk partitions.

How to use

After starting the program users can scan the system to locate all connected storage devices. There is a button for previewing the drive contents before analyzing it more deeply. The results of the scan are displayed in the included file explorer. Like in Handy Recovery, all items are sorted into several categories such as lost and deleted.

You can sort the files by name, size, modification date, type and condition. Additionally, it is possible to view any item as a HEX code or as a text. The last step is to specify the target directory for recovered data.

Advanced capabilities

There are tools for accessing internal drive information like the amount of physical cylinders, heads and sectors. Users are able to view the total size, free space and file system for every storage device in the system.

Flexible drive access parameters are provided. You can utilize BIOS initialization services and enable read-ahead caching.
