Pattern Maker is a program for Windows designed to help tailors and seamstresses to create their own cross stitch patterns. With the help of this utility, users are able to add stitches manually or upload preset designs from pictures. It is also possible to customize the size of the scheme and the color palette. In addition, they have the ability to export their project in such formats as PES, HUS, PCS, EMD, JEF or SEW.

Design creation

After launching the application, you can select the size of the grid and stitches. You also have the option to pick the colors used and the overall style of the workspace. It is worth mentioning that the tool enables you to create a custom template that will be used by default for all new designs.

The next step is to select the types of stitches and add them to the grid. After making the desired changes to the project, you can save the pattern in a variety of formats compatible with embroidery machines.

Working with images

Using the software, you have the ability to create sketches based on a digital photo or picture. For best results, it is recommended to import images with high resolution.

Similar to WILCOM EmbroideryStudio, the program allows you to adjust the brightness and contrast values. You also can set the size of the pattern either in millimeters or stitches, as well as keep the aspect ratio of the original image.
