PartWorks is a Windows software for designing complex 3D objects. It allows you to use a variety of modeling instruments for extruding, distorting and resizing individual elements. Please note that PartWorks is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Model creation

After starting the utility users can import existing 3D objects in several common file formats or begin sculpting from scratch. It is possible to insert standard geometric shapes such as cubes, spheres, cylinders, cones and tori into the workspace. Every part of the model is fully customizable.

Design tools

You are able to enhance objects by applying materials like wood, metal, plastic, glass and stone to individual surfaces. Moreover, there are instruments for adding custom logos, patterns and images to the model. Various lighting effects and realistic shadows can be activated as well.

Like in RepRapFirmware, options to export resulting objects as G code or CNC files for industrial machining are included in this program. Additionally, users can prepare models for 3D printing on a wide variety of popular devices. Tools for sharing content with other people via several social media platforms are available.
