PaintShop is a Windows program for photo editing. Similar to Photoshop, it allows you to work with both bitmap and vector images. Flexible color correction and face retouching instruments are provided.

Available templates

Users can create a new blank project or choose one of the included premade templates for quick start. There are multiple options for designing presentations, maps, social media posts, postcards, collages and calendars. Users are able to adjust the page size and aspect ratio.

Tools for constructing mobile device wallpapers are available. You can create layouts for a wide variety of smartphones and tablets. It is possible to add a texture to the image and adjust the color depth.

Editing capabilities

This utility allows users to improve the picture quality. There are options for correcting the white balance, brightness, contrast and saturation. Moreover, users are able to retouch small face defects and distort objects in the photo. A helpful color histogram for easier editing is included.

Multiple visual filters are provided. You are able to add virtual lighting sources and normalize skin tones. Distortion, mirroring and various other artistic effects can be applied to the picture.
