PaintBall Mod is a modification for Minecraft that brings an entirely new experience to the game. To be more exact, it provides you with paintball guns and armor of different colors, so you can get a server running and play game modes like capture the flag with your friends. If you want to simply add new biomes, you may try other mods such as The Twilight Forest or PaleoCraft.

Build a team base

The mod allows you to have up to six team colors each with their respective armors, bases, and weapons. Essentially, you need to build a base stocked with equipment, ammunition and a flag. The gear and weapon racks will auto-reload so there is no reason to restock them. It is necessary to mention that the bases are locked to a player’s color. This means that someone from another team cannot enter your base of operations.

Weapons and equipment

Please note that each new weapon comes with a special skill set ranging from single to burst to scatter shot. There are also grenades, claymores and C4 which add the possibility of damaging your opponents structures with explosives. For example, C4 may be detonated from a remote distance, so you can employ an element of surprise to your tactics.

Color customization

Another interesting feature of this mod is the presence of a paintbrush. With this instrument, you are able to turn any in-game object into your desired color. If someone from the enemy team has placed a blue claymore, you have the ability to repaint it. Thus, your foes will be attacked by it instead of you. It is also possible to change flags, armor, and even bases to your own color.
