PacketiX VPN is a program package for Windows that allows you to create a virtual private network without setting up your own server. Instead, you can configure your personal Virtual Hub on the PacketiX.NET VPN Server Cluster.

Purpose

The software solution is suitable for home and business networks, as well as advanced setups with high load needed by large enterprises and Internet service providers. It is a stable and flexible VPN tool that provides extensive coverage. Alternatively, you may use a newer version of this application called SoftEther VPN Client.

Setup

The client that is used to connect to the PacketiX.NET Secure Internet Service may be installed via ActiveX or in manual mode. If you use the first option, the utility will be preconfigured, while the latter requires you to input the settings yourself or download the premade file.

Operation

As with other Windows applications, the client can be operated by opening menus, selecting items and entering necessary data in dialog boxes. It also allows you to control the VPN service on remote computers.

The SoftEther Corporation developed the PacketiX VPN protocol to maximize efficiency of communication by controlling and optimizing the TCP/IP connection. As a result, if you use the client on a network with sufficient bandwidth, you can increase the speed and achieve low latency.
