OpenLP is a special program for Windows intended to help you create, edit, and reference religious motifs and Bible. The application is provided free of charge, and gives you the possibility to search through the Scriptures, customize your content, and broadcast it to connected projectors.

Initial configuration

The utility comes packed with a First Time Wizard. This intuitive module will guide you through a series of configuration steps to set up a comfortable working environment. It is possible to choose the interface language and install additional plugins. The latter are designed as extensions for presentation insertions for songs, images, ot the Bible passages in different translations, as well as remote access, alerts, and more.

Functionality

Once installed and configured, the software allows you to create the content you want. In the File tab, you are able to generate a new service or open an existing project. From the main interface, you can load songs, pictures and text segments.

Thanks to the theme wizard, you have the ability to create new themes for your presentations, link audio files, add new titles, and insert lyrics. If you want to only display words for church songs via projector, you may use another tool called OpenSong.
