Olympus Digital Wave Player is a Windows application for copying WAV files from the compatible Olympus dictaphones to the PC. There is an option to automatically delete the source audio after the transfer.

How to use

The main window contains the file browser, tracklist and playback controls. It is possible to sort the items by name, creation date, recording length and sound quality. Users can configure the utility to automatically transfer audio files after connecting the dictaphone.

Olympus recorders have the standard file structure that includes folders A, B, C, D and a Schedule directory. There are buttons for copying the data separately from every location.

It is worth mentioning that this utility supports only two recorder models. To work with other devices you can download Olympus Sonority.

Direct recording

The program allows users to capture sound from the digital recorder straight to the PC via USB connection. It is possible to select the audio quality and specify the resulting file name.

Player

Downloaded items can be opened in the provided player. Controls for pausing, stopping, rewinding and fast forwarding are available. Audio volume is adjustable as well.

The current position and overall length are displayed. You are able to scrub through a timeline to find the required parts.
