NX Studio is a Windows software for working with digital pictures taken by Nikon cameras. You can view all images as thumbnails to quickly find required items. Instruments for correcting the brightness, contrast, gamma, color hue and other visual parameters are available.

Viewing options

The Nikon Transfer 2 application is installed alongside the main program. It contains tools for copying photos from the camera to the hard drive. After importing all pictures to the library users can open NX Studio to organize the collection.

It is possible to adjust the size of thumbnails for easier navigation. Moreover, you are able to switch to the table view and sort the contents by name, personal rating, label, creation date, shutter speed, ISO value or other technical attributes. The program allows you to preview photos in fullscreen mode as well.

Image adjustments

Similar to Capture NX D, users can modify RAW images by tuning the white balance, exposure and color temperature. Additionally, there are sliders for changing the default brightness, contrast and saturation values.

Flexible noise reduction tools are included. You are able to sharpen blurry photos. It is easy to correct various lens distortions and remove color aberrations from source pictures.
