Nuendo is an audio editing program for Windows. With it, you can record sound from various external devices, including MIDI keyboards, microphones, and musical instruments. Unlike Cubase, this software is aimed at professionals involved in creating sound tracks and dubbing video recordings.

Create a project

After launching the application, you are able to import recordings or create new audio tracks from scratch. It is possible to connect external devices or use virtual instruments. Synths and guitars, as well as various effects are available. In addition, the utility allows you to mix tracks via the remote control in real time.

Moreover, multi-channel audio recording function is supported. You also have the option to install third-party VST plugins for musical instruments and frequency filters.

Edit

The program enables you to edit audio tracks and add effects. You can cut out individual sections, amplify and weaken the sound in the selected frequency ranges. An integrated spectrum analyzer is also available. Moreover, the software comes with a Sound Randomizer tool, which gives you the ability to automatically create different variations of sounds.
