Norton Save and Restore is a comprehensive program for Windows that gives you access to advanced backup and recovery tools for your documents and computer. The application features a user-friendly interface. It provides you with functionality to restore lost or damaged files, recover the whole system or just optimize backup disk space.

Operation

When you launch it the first time, the utility will automatically determine a directory to put your recovered files in. Please note, if you have an external drive connected to your PC, make sure it is turned on. After scanning your system, the software will advise you on how to backup your files better. Next, the recovery points are created and placed into the predefined folder.

Recovery points and disks

Thanks to the well-organized layout with menus and tabs, you can easily preview the status of each process as well as quickly select the task you need most. You also have the ability to create a one-time recovery point without saving the backup job and recover your system state to a specific time and day. It is also possible to restore specific files or folders that have been changed, corrupted or deleted.

Similar to Veeam Endpoint Backup, this application allows you to create recovery disks. Since it provides you with a wizard-like environment, this option can be used by both professional and beginner PC users. All you need to do is turn on all storage and local network devices that you would like to have available.
