NetCut is a lightweight Windows program designed to scan the computers in your network and provide detailed information on each machine. Moreover, it features dedicated tools for finding specific IP addresses.

Operation

The application does not have a standard graphical user interface. It opens a webpage in your default browser following the installation and computer reboot. The software is capable of automatically scanning your network and retrieving information on the connected machines.

Moreover, you can choose a different network adapter in case you are using multiple devices at the same time. Therefore, you are able to monitor if someone is leeching on your bandwidth or whether other users are downloading content from the Internet.

At this point, you have the option to simply cut down the connection to these devices or slow it down. Please note, the latter feature is available in Pro mode only. Severing Internet connection is done via the drag-and-drop method.

Summary

This utility was mainly developed for displaying the bandwidth distribution between multiple computers to the same network. Similar to Advanced IP Scanner, you are able to view such detailed info as IP address, MAC and the names of the connected devices. Additionally, you have the option to change the physical address of the selected network adapter with a few clicks.
