NDSTokyoTrim is a Windows software for removing unnecessary data from ROM files. It is compatible with all existing formats of DS game cards such as R4, Acekard, M3, CycloDS, G6, etc. Users can work with NDS cartridges of all sizes as well.

Overview

The application offers you instruments for trimming ROM files. This process is intended for reducing the resulting filesize by erasing extra data from the disk image. Enhanced DSi ROMs are supported.

Users can upload ZIP and RAR archives with games or scan specific folders to detect compatible content. The list of ROMs is sortable by title, type and size. Unicode symbols in filenames are allowed.

Resulting ROMs are compatible with MelonDS and other emulators.

Database

There is a library of known games with more than 7000 items. Detailed information about the publisher, genre, Wi-Fi support and release date is available for every title. This collection can be used to fill in missing metadata in custom ROM files.

Configuration

The Settings menu contains tools for specifying the output folder, enabling ROM backups and removing scene numbers from resulting files. You are able to view operation logs to troubleshoot potential errors.
