Napster is a Windows program for listening to songs and watching music videos from your favorite bands. The program offers you suggestions based on the listening history.

How it works

This utility helps users access a paid subscription service for streaming audio and video. It is possible to log in with the iTunes, Facebook or Amazon credentials. Alternatively, users are able to create a separate Napster account.

Streaming music

The main interface is straightforward. There is a list of recently played tracks. The “Recommended” section contains songs based on the listening history. To discover new genres and artists you can start the “New for You” playlist. There are tools for finding specific songs in the massive online database.

All tracks contain the album cover, lyrics and information about the artist. Every song or video clip can be added to the favorites for quick access in the future. Moreover, users are able to create personal playlists and share them with friends.

Included audio player allows you to loop the song or randomize the playlist. Queuing the next track is possible as well.

Please note that Napster is a paid service with recurring monthly fees. It is necessary to enter the credit card information to access the free 30-day trial version.
