Mystical Lighting is a Windows utility that contains instruments for designing various visual effects. There is a collection of customizable presets. The layer effects palette allows users to apply multiple effects to a single image.

Compatibility

The program can be used as a standalone graphics editor. Alternatively, you are able to integrate the provided plugin into Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw and Paintshop Pro.

Main functionality

Users can add streaks, bursts and waves of light to create dazzling pictures with dramatic flair. The Ethereal effect is achieved by adjusting tonal diffusions to simulate a longer exposure with a soft lens. It is possible to export all effects to a single transparent layer.

There are custom brushes for drawing twinkles, sparkles, snowflakes, stars, light flares and other creative shapes. You are able to apply the film grain effect as well.

Instruments for generating haze and fog are provided. Users can control the density, transparency and other parameters of these atmospheric effects. Moreover, it is easy to emulate mist, rain and lightning bolts.
