MySQL Administrator is a Windows utility that allows you to interact with MySQL databases. There are instruments for backing up stored procedures, triggers, events, privileges and other elements. The main interface is fully customizable.

Database management

Users can connect to any local or remote MySQL server by entering the host name, network port, login and password. Advanced connection options include checkboxes for enabling compression protocol and activating SSL encryption. It is possible to store custom settings for future use.

Tools for interacting with internal tables, functions, triggers, accounts and other database components are provided. Moreover, you can monitor the servers status and overall performance. Logs with detailed records of all operations are created automatically. These text files are helpful for troubleshooting potential errors.

Please note that MySQL Administrator is an obsolete program and no longer supported by the developer. It was replaced with MySQL Workbench.

Backup

The application lets users create an extra copy of the entire server or select specific databases. There is an option to schedule regular backup operations. Previously saved copies can be quickly restored from local files or remote locations via the FTP protocol.
