Musicsoft Downloader is a program for Windows that enables your musical keyboard to connect with your personal computer and transfer songs. It is worth mentioning that the application was designed specifically to be used with Yamaha products.

Connect device

The software solution comes with an easy-to-navigate graphical interface and works seamlessly between instrument and PC. In the first place, you need to connect the device. This can be achieved by using a common USB printer cable.

After launching the utility, you have to click on the Connection Check button located at the bottom of the main window. This operation checks whether communication between the computer and instrument has been properly established or not.

Transfer music

In order to transfer the content, you can select the desired files via the explorer. The next step is to pick the device from the Electronic Musical Instruments menu. It is possible to upload tracks to internal memory of the instrument or move to the USB storage device. You are able to transfer up to 10 Song files to the keyboard for playback. If you want to edit these musical compositions or create new ones from scratch, you may use another tool called YAMAHA XGworks.
