Msi Motherboard Drivers Ms 6541 is a Windows utility for downloading and installing driver updates on MSI portable computers. It is possible to backup the old versions to restore them in case of technical issues.

Usage

The main window contains several tabs:

Scan;
Download;
Backup;
Restore;
and Settings.

You can click the Start Scan button to check the laptop and detect obsolete drivers. All available new versions will be listed in the Download panel after the operation is complete. It is possible to quickly install all of them with the corresponding button or select specific components to update.

Settings tab offers users checkboxes for automatically starting the app with Windows and shutting down the PC when all downloads are complete. Moreover, there is an option to include hidden drivers in the scan.

Please note that this utility only works with MSI laptops. There are other tools like Driver Detective for locating obsolete drivers on any PC.

Backup and restore

You are prompted to create a backup beforehand to utilize the restore function. If there are system instabilities or errors after installing new drivers it is possible to roll back the software to an older version.

It is worth mentioning that Msi Motherboard Drivers Ms 6541 is a paid program. The free trial version does not offer users the backup functionality.
