MProg
MProg is a small and efficient program for Windows designed to serve as a configuration utility for a wide array of programmable USB devices. Since customizing these types of gadgets is a very specialized activity, the tool is aimed toward professional developers.
Overview
The application is tailored to a specific range of EEPROMs and USB devices. It features a basic but very functional graphical interface that enables programmers to write the instructions from scratch or use the built-in template to get started. If you want to develop programs for Arduino boards, you may use another tool called Arduino.
Edit files
During editing of the loaded file, you can select the type of device, Vendor and Product ID. The later two may be left to their default values or modified as necessary by selecting the desired option from the corresponding dropdown menu.
Additionally, the software allows you to select the USB version, disable the serial number and more. The power options for the FTDI device are also configurable through this program, as are the product and manufacturer descriptors.
