Modern Firearms is a Windows software for integrating a mod into the popular Fallout 4 video game. Players can use multiple types of new weapons such as Colt 1911, HK MP5, M134, Desert Eagle, AA12, Remington 700, Kriss Vector and M79 among others. Every item is fully customizable.
Installation
After downloading the ZIP archive from the official website you can unpack its contents to the main game directory. Alternatively, it is possible to set up the mod via a launcher like Vortex or Nexus. There is support for both the PC and Xbox Fallout 4 versions.
Mod contents
Available weapons include all kinds of firearms from pistols to sniper rifles. Users are able to craft new items from components found in the world. Moreover, there are unique upgrades and enhancements like scopes and underbarrel attachments. They can be toggled on the fly via hotkeys to allow for more dynamic gameplay.
All weapons are significantly stronger than in the vanilla Fallout 4 version. However, you can adjust the maximum damage power in the embedded mod configuration menu. There are options to toggle the staggering effect and access the debug container as well.
