Mixxx is a comprehensive program for Windows that integrates various DJ instruments into a modular interface. With this utility, users can mix songs and modify them by adding various special effects.

Modular layout

The graphical user interface of this application consists of the sixt tabs at the top of the layout where you can add multiple elements, based on your needs. Each of them has its own functions, making this a very scalable audio mixing tool.

The Waveforms tab enables you to fine-tune your songs by analyzing their wavelengths, while 4 Deck will double the number of tracks you are able to combine. You can visit the Mixer component to rearrange all the available audio sections.

Additionally, you have the option to add various special effects to your tracks, such as auto-pan, reverb and much more. It is worth mentioning that you have the ability to interweave the part of your song with another via the Samplers section, whilst the MIC/AUX tab allows you to manage input devices.

Extensive options

Apart from layout customization, you can visit the Preferences menu to take this even further. Here, you are able to pick the interface skin and personalize mixing decks, waveforms and other settings. There is also an option to broadcast your mixes to a Shoutcast server created with SHOUTcast DNAS.
