Media Player Codec Pack is a program package for Windows that provides a collection of components required for encoding and decoding various multimedia files. It is possible to use these codecs for video and audio playback in your favorite media player.

Setup

Due to the fact that all necessary files are packed in a library, the tool does come with a graphical interface. This means you need to pay attention to the installation process and select the desired components to be deployed on your PC. The utility offers two setup options, simple and detailed. If you pick the latter, you will be able to manually choose the codecs.

Multimedia codecs
