Media Creation Tool is a Windows software that lets you create bootable USB Flash drives for installing a fresh version of the operating system or upgrading an existing OS. You can choose the correct language, edition and architecture from the drop-down menus.

Updating process

The program does not require separate installation. Users are able to update the system by running the provided executable file and selecting the corresponding option in the main menu. It is worth mentioning that an internet connection is necessary for downloading OS updates. An active license is required as well.

Bootable media creation

There is an option to copy Windows distribution files to a removable storage device for installing a fresh operating system on another computer. A USB Flash drive with at least 8 Gb of memory is necessary for this operation. All existing data will be deleted from the device.

Similar to Easy USB Creator, you can generate the ISO disk image that contains the most updated Windows version and burn it to a blank DVD. Alternatively, it is possible to mount the resulting file to a virtual optical drive.

Options for choosing the language, edition and OS architecture are available. It is recommended to ensure that the target computer meets minimum system requirements before proceeding with the installation.
