MCreator is a Windows software for creating Minecraft mods. Similar to MCSkin3D, it does not require special skills to use. The development platform contains a step-by-step constructor. All programming code is generated automatically.

Mod creation

The app provides a resource browser for importing custom images and audio tracks into the project. Moreover, there is a basic graphics editor and drawing instruments. Users can create animated textures, skins and other visual objects. It is possible to export finished models as individual files.

Testing

You are able to validate the mod by running it in the emulated environment. After correcting potential errors the project can be saved in the standard Minecraft format.

Code editor

All syntax elements are highlighted for easier navigation. Users can utilize the autofill feature to quickly write standard commands. There are premade code snippets for speeding up the development process. The project structure is displayed in the form of a tree. An option to import the code from an external file is provided as well.
