MCEBrowser
MCEBrowser is a Windows software that lets you set up an add-on for Media Center 2005 to browse the web with the help of a remote control device. Additionally, it provides tools for surfing the internet from an Xbox 360 gaming console.
Installation
To integrate the plugin into Windows Media Center users can run the included executable file. It is worth mentioning that this tool is supported only by Windows XP and Vista. Newer OS versions have a different Media Center application and are not compatible with the plugin.
After installing you can find the add-on in the main application on your computer or Xbox 360. It is located in the Extras menu. You are able to control it from a distance with a special Media Center remote or a standard Xbox gamepad.
Please note that MCEBrowser is an obsolete software and does not support Javascript, HTML5 and other modern technologies. Users can download Mozilla Firefox for a better browsing experience.
