Mantle is a modification for Minecraft that contains shared codes for different Forge-based modpacks, making it a prerequisite for playing different projects developed by the Slime Knights. It is necessary to note that the package includes the codes for standard inventories and descriptive books.

How it works

Technically, the program does not offer any additional features when installed. However, it is a requirement for various other mods that rely on it as a code library. There is a wide range of titles that need the Mantle to work properly, namely A Minecrafter’s Odyssey, T.E. Technical Exploration and others. The product is also included and is required to launch such popular mod collections as Minecolonies Modpack, Husscraft Lite, Overboard, and more.

Setup

First of all, you need to have Minecraft Forge deployed on your personal computer. You may do so by installing a special client called TLauncher. The next step is to locate the Minecraft app folder. On Windows OS you can start the Run utility and enter %appdata%. Then, open the Application Support folder and look for the game. Once you found it, you have to place the JAR file you downloaded into the Mods directory.
