Mandelbulber is an advanced program for Windows designed to help you generate three-dimensional Mandelbrot fractals called Mandelbulb. However, it is also possible to render similar sets, such as Mandelbox, Bulbox, Juliabulb and Menger Sponge.

Functionality

The software solution gives you the ability to create detailed 3D fractals of the Mandelbrot set. It renders trigonometric, hypercomplex, mandelbox and many other types of models, and offers you a quick and efficient way of navigating and exploring these sets.

What is more, each generation is intricately built, as the tool can display complex ray-traced shading, including hard shadows, ambient occlusion or depth of field. If you want to create stunning images with personalized light, color, depth-of-field and glow effects, you may try a similar utility called Mandelbulb 3D.

Camera controls

It is worth noting that you are able to examine any of the generated fractals in detail, via the mouse-controlled navigation camera. This feature gives you an in-depth view of every keyframe of your model. In addition, the application is capable of working with both x86 and x64 processors, with the sole difference that you have unlimited image resolution to 64-bit machines.
