MainActor is a modular program package for Windows designed to help you load, edit, play, save and convert various animation and picture formats. It features a wide range of processing and customizing capabilities.

Overview

The application is based on a completely revamped engine which makes video editing more effective and productive. MainActor provides numerous features including the track-based graphical interface and the customizable workspace, as well as multi-user support. What is more, you have the ability to record digital videos via FireWire with the help of the capture module. Alternatively, you may use a similar utility called Ulead VideoStudio.

Special effects

In order to create your first project, you need to import the desired multimedia content. You can do that through the integrated file browser or by simply dragging and dropping items into the timeline.

The Effects tab enables you to access a wide array of presets. Thus, you can add transitions, filters and source animations. It is also possible to apply various audio effects like fade in and out. After you have made the desired changes to your project, you can save it in AVI, BMP, FLC, FLI, GIF, JPEG and WAV formats.
