Magician is a Windows software for diagnosing SSDs manufactured by Samsung. You can view the amount of free space, estimated service time and other drive attributes. There are instruments for optimizing the performance and prolonging the device life. Supported product lines include QVO, EVO and PRO.

Diagnostics

Users are able to get a detailed report about the SSD current state. There is temperature sensor data, the amount of occupied and available disk space, serial number and firmware version. Additionally, it is possible to perform tests for evaluating maximum writing and reading speeds.

Instruments for scanning the hardware to identify errors and technical issues are provided. You can enable system notifications in case of detecting serious problems with the device.

Optimization

There are tools for improving overall drive performance. Moreover, users are able to activate RAID mode for automated data caching. Like in EaseUS Partition Master, options for resizing logical disk volumes are available. Moreover, users can manage the space reserved for periodic SSD maintenance.
