Lucky Block is a modification for Minecraft designed to enrich game experience by adding an element of randomness. Generally speaking, it adds a single block which holds hundreds of possibilities.

Random items

The so-called lucky blocks spawn naturally in your world, and across all dimensions. However, they are quite rare and are more common to appear in such locations as the Nether. It is necessary to mention that the blocks may also generate within special structures, telling you how positive the outcome is likely to be.

When you find and open such a lucky block, it will randomly choose from over a hundred outcomes that cover chests, monsters, pieces of equipment, weapons, potions, enchantments, and more. The mod also adds three new items to the game, namely a special sword, bow and potion.

Crafting recipe

In order to craft a lucky block, you need to have eight gold ingots and a dispenser. In addition, you can modify the luck of the block or special items by combining them with certain other objects in a crafting bench. This will alter the probability of getting positive or negative results. If you want to add other types of blocks to the game, like pipes and engines, you may use another mod called BuildCraft.
