LP Recorder is a program for Windows aimed at users who want to capture content stored on LPs and cassettes to MP3 format. By doing so, it is possible to play music in a more versatile and comfortable environment.
Overview
First of all, you need to have an appropriate sound card or equivalent audio device to be able to use the utility. If the necessary conditions are met, you can record analog line-in input and playback via headphones or speakers.
Once you launch the application, you are greeted with the main window, which contains various controls. The capture process is quite straightforward. All you have to do is indicate an output directory for your audio file. Moreover, it is possible to start, pause or stop the recording at any point.
Capture modes
It is necessary to mention that you are able to capture in stereo, 2-channel or single mono modes. You also have the option to merge the resulting track with an existing recording to set up a smooth transition. Additionally, the tool enables you to simultaneously listen and record audio, so you can evaluate the results in real-time.
