LochMaster is a program for Windows that enables designers to plan a project in an accurate and reliable environment before taking it out in the field. When it comes to circuit boards, the utility comes equipped with an extensive object library and configurations for building stripboard models.

Intuitive layout

The software presentes all of its features via an intuitive graphical user interface. It has a dedicated editing section, with an attached side panel which helps you select components to add in your project. Since the arrangement is done by dragging elements around, it is possible to perform most actions with a mouse.

Create objects or use presets

Before you can build any schematics, you have to pick a stripboard to work with. Similar to Circuit Wizard, the application provides a considerable amount of models with different shapes and configurations. Moreover, the object library allows you to view them by category, namely batteries, coils, contacts, capacitors, jacks and more.

However, the program does not limit you to working with preset objects. You have the ability to create various geometrical shapes, as well as components, pins, labels or soldering points. In addition, you can group them to set up custom categories.

Multiple viewing modes

It is necessary to note that nearly every object has a graphics representation. Nevertheless, the quality is quite poor so it is recommended to disable the 3D view. You are also able to toggle the preview section to display content in black and white.
