Lively Wallpaper is a Windows software for generating unique interactive desktop backgrounds from YouTube videos, HTML pages or video games. There is a collection of premade wallpapers as well as a basic graphics editor for designing custom options.

How it works

After starting the program you can browse the library of animated images. Instruments for editing and previewing any wallpaper are included. Alternatively, it is possible to import pictures and video clips in multiple popular formats. There is an option to play YoTube videos or open web pages directly on the desktop as well. The search bar for quickly finding required media content by keywords is located at the top of the main interface.

Users are able to customize some pre-made variants by changing the color and speed of the animation. Moreover, checkboxes for enabling individual visual effects are provided.

Display configuration

Unlike in DesktopX, you can set different wallpapers for separate monitors. There are several placement methods for deciding how the picture will be applied to the current display. Available options include duplicating the wallpaper on all active monitors and spanning the image across the screens.
