Lenovo Vantage is a Windows software for monitoring the condition of the computer and operating system. There are instruments for scanning the hardware and detecting technical issues.

System information

After starting the program users can access internal computer characteristics such as the CPU model, amount of RAM and information about all storage devices. The serial number and current BIOS version are available as well. It is possible to refresh the data by clicking the Hardware Scan button at the bottom of the interface. Tools for installing the latest official OS updates are provided as well.

Protection settings

Another useful feature of this application is Security Advisor. You can view the current protection status of the system. There is an option to purchase and set up the McAfee antivirus software. Alternatively, you are able to download Avira Free Antivirus or another free app with similar capabilities.

A section with tips for online safety is included. It is intended to help users defend the computer from common external threats.

Audio configuration

You are able to toggle the microphone and adjust its volume. Moreover, advanced Dolby surround sound parameters are included on compatible Lenovo laptops.
