LeapFTP is a Windows program for downloading files from FTP and HTTP servers. There are tools for scheduling transfers and limiting the connection speed.

Main purpose

Just like Filezilla, this software is intended for establishing links with remote servers to download or upload any data. You can enter the IP address, username, password and network port for connecting to the required network location. Alternatively, there is a checkbox for anonymous access. It is possible to open multiple servers and switch between them.

After connecting to the network folder all its contents are displayed on the right side of the main window. Users can sort the files by name, size, type and creation date. Local directories are located on the right.

To transfer data between the server and the computer you can drag and drop them to the required folder. A warning window will pop up if the file with the same name already exists in the target location. You are able to overwrite the item or cancel the operation.

Additional settings

Users can configure proxy server parameters for bypassing network restrictions. Additionally, there are options to customize the color scheme of the main window, change the default warning sounds and adjust other interface settings.

All activity is logged to a history file. This is helpful for troubleshooting any technical issues.
