LanSpy is a network program for Windows which provides you with extensive information about connected computers as well as gives access to a wide range of tools within an intuitive interface.

General notes

This is an easy-to-use scanner application that can check a defined IP and retrieve information about the system. Thanks to the simple and intuitive graphical user interface, all you need to do is input the desired address and start the process.

Once it is done, the software will display the following information:

logged users;
global and local groups;
password policy;
MAC address;
DNS name;
TTL and RTT;
TCP and UDP ports;
other network statistics.

It is necessary to mention that you need access to the scanned computer, otherwise LanSpy may fail to retrieve the aforementioned items when handling certain IPs. You can input the username and password for the target system, thus granting access to all details.

Advanced functions

Additionally, you are able to configure the operations to perform when scanning an IP or ports as well as the adjacent parameters. Similar to Advanced IP Scanner, it is possible to export the result to XML or HTML. This means you can analyze the information at a later date.
