LAN Employee Monitor is a Windows program designed for real time observation of employee activities through remote connections. It can capture desktop operations, automatically take screenshots, terminate apps, initiate PC shutdowns or restart, and send messages.

Client and server

The software distribution comprises a server and client. To access the functionality, you need to install the former on the computer used for control, and deploy the latter on the remote PC. Unfortunately, the project was discontinued. Alternatively, you may try a tool called Actual Keylogger.

You have the option to add a new user by entering details such as the name. It is also possible to organize individuals into custom groups. The utility allows you to run itself at Windows startup, establish a master password, choose the directory for storing all recording, and automatically clear data.

Monitoring actions

Remote file management features provide the ability to upload, delete, rename or execute files. You can create new folders and refresh the item list. Additionally, you may view all running processes, send messages to other users, and initiate computer shutdowns or restarts.

The program provides options to deactivate USB connections, prohibit the downloading of Internet Explorer, and limit users from running specific processes. You can automate the saving of screenshots to the local disk and export keylogger data, web histories, and transfer speeds to the local disk.
