LaCie Network Assistant is a Windows app that empowers you to interact with NAS drives manufactured by LaCie. There are instruments for viewing and editing internal device properties to simplify network configuration efforts. Similar to Synology Assistant, new logical volumes can be manually created.

NAS settings

The utility automatically detects all compatible storage devices present in the local environment, simplifying the process of organizing multiple drives. Users can access detailed information about identified hardware such as:

IP address;
Subnet mask;
Gateway;
DNS;
WINS.

You are able to keep track of NAS status in real time, which is critical when working in corporate networks. Additionally, tools for performing firmware updates to improve device performance and security are included.

Data sharing

It is possible to manipulate information stored on network drives directly from within the program. This ensures smooth collaboration across teams and departments, facilitating easy file retrieval and streamlining the workflow. There is an option to adjust account permissions on a per user basis as well.
