KMS is a Windows software that lets you activate an operating system version for free. Additionally, there is an option to remove trial restrictions from office products like Microsoft Word and Excel.

Windows activation

Due to the nature of this application, it is necessary to disable antivirus protection before downloading the archive. There are no malicious elements in the package. However, most security programs will identify the activator as a suspicious item. After starting the tool users are able to check the current activation status of the operating system and the Microsoft Office software suite by clicking the Information button.

If the Windows copy is not registered, you can click Activation to automatically perform all necessary operations. Older OS versions may require a computer reboot to apply the changes. The Office suite is activated in the same way.

Advanced settings

The System tab lets users install a KMS-host Service. It is required for preventing the system from connecting to the official Microsoft server and trying to validate the key.

There is an option to schedule regular checks and automatically activate the system in case the license is missing. A checkbox for logging all activity to a text file is available as well.
