KGL is a specialized Windows application for working with PLCs made by LS Industrial Systems. There are several trigger functions and other debugging features. It is worth noting that KGL is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Programming

After connecting the PLC device to the computer users can begin creating new sets of instructions. Similar to TwinCAT, a project may contain a single or multiple programs as well as parameters, variables and personal comments.

You are able to make changes to the code and immediately run the modified version on the physical device. This is helpful for resolving potential issues and conflicts.

Monitoring and debugging

Users can keep track of all errors, network performance and system status. It is possible to display this information as a list, table or graph for easier understanding.

An option to enable forced I/O to manually set the values of input and output signals is provided. Moreover, trigger functions can be used to start and stop a program at specific points for further troubleshooting and performance optimization.
