KaZaA Lite is a Windows software for connecting to the FastTrack p2p network. It allows users to search and download movies, music and other media content.

How it works

The peer-2-peer technology is intended for sharing files with other members of the network. There is a large collection of videos, songs and other items available for downloading.

After starting this utility you can click the My K-Lite button to add any items to the sharing library. All files are automatically sorted by type in separate folders for the music, documents, images, software and video.

There is a Search button for accessing files shared by other people. It is possible to look up only certain types of content. Moreover, users can filter search results by the artist, album, language, year, quality and size.

Please note that KaZaA Lite is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. It does not function properly in Windows 7 and newer. Users can download uTorrent for connecting to p2p networks.

Options

You can specify the nickname, origin country and other personal settings. The default sharing directory is customizable as well. There are settings for the maximum number of displayed search results. The connection bandwidth limit can be adjusted.

It is important to mention that downloading copyrighted content from a p2p network is illegal in many countries.
