Kathrein PCA is a Windows application for working with high-frequency radio antennas. There is support for several models from Kathrein. You are able to view all channels and adjust the tilt parameters. Mode selection is available as well.

Main purpose

Portable control adapters are intended for transferring data from the RFID antennas to the computer. This program lets users configure signal parameters for every radio channel separately. Additionally, detailed information about the gain strength, device mode, sector ID and current status is provided.

It is worth mentioning that Kathrein PCA supports only high-frequency RFID antennas. You can download WSJT X to work with other types of devices.

Adding hardware

To quickly integrate a new antenna into the array users can utilize a simple wizard tool. It is possible to specify technical parameters of the device such as the type, installation date, basestation ID and other attributes. Clicking the Set Data button will verify all entered data and save the configuration.

RET antennas

You are able to manually adjust the Remote Electrical Tilt value. Devices with this feature can be controlled remotely to improve the signal strength. The error message will pop up if the entered tilt degree is out of the supported range. There is a calibration tool for fine-tuning the remote control unit.

Please note that Kathrein PCA is an obsolete software and no longer supported by the developers. It is not available for download.
