JewelCAD Pro is a Windows program that lets users construct 3D models of small jewelry pieces. It is helpful for designing pendants, cufflinks, rings and other objects.

Interface

The main window contains an editing section. You can view the model from different sides and zoom in on any part. There are buttons for adding new curves to the project. Moreover, it is possible to deform existing details by rolling, bending and twisting them.

Users are able to draw cylinders, cones, spheres and other shapes. A jewel counter and ring sizer tool are provided. Users can quickly flip the image and create a second identical half for speeding up the design process.

There are tools for adding multiple layers to the project and editing them separately. You can group the objects as well. These features are helpful for designing complex and detailed 3D models.

It is worth mentioning that JewelCAD Pro is an obsolete software and no longer supported by the developer. Users can download another program with similar capabilities like Zbrush.

Materials

The utility offers you a large library of textures for the jewelry. Different stones and metals are available. Additionally, it is possible to create custom materials.

Measuring instruments for calculating the area, weight and volume of the model are provided. There are separate parameters for diamonds.
