IsoBuster is an application for Windows that allows you to search for and recover corrupted files. Like Handy Recovery, this program works with hard drives, flash storages, memory cards and other types of media. The main feature of the utility is the ability to recover files stored on CD or a DVD. For this purpose, it uses the method of directly accessing an optical drive, bypassing the operating system.

Scan

After launching the application, you need to select a disk or directory. Then the program displays information about all files and partitions. It is possible to choose the items to be saved. There is also an option to create a list of errors that were found while reading.

The function to scan files based on their digital signature is supported. This software is able to recover information from old media sessions.

Check

You can use the utility to verify the integrity of the files. It is also possible to access the CD at the physical level in blank mode. The option to copy data to the clipboard and export a list of items written to damaged parts of the CD is supported.
