iPodWizard is a Windows program that enables you to update firmware on your iPod device. Additionally, with it you can customize its graphical user interface. If you would like to jailbreak the portable media player, you may use special utilities like the ZiPhone.

Firmware update

Regardless of your iPod model, the process of using this application is nearly identical. You begin by launching the executable file, which you extracted into the directory of your choice. Then you can click the Open Updater button and browse to find the firmware file.

Graphics customization

If you have a color-screen iPod, you can save your images in color . If you have a grayscale model, please note, the pictures may not appear the same on your Apple device as they do in the program. This is because the 4 shades of gray available on the iPod are different from the defaults in most editing utilities.
